Do not throw shredded paper directly in the recycle bin!
Instead, put it in a *sealed* paper bag, label it as "shredded paper," then place it in a yellow recycle bin.
The paper bag keeps it from scattering all over the ground when the bin is emptied. Hard to clean up such a mess!
*sealed* means paper bag is stapled or taped shut to prevent scattering loose paper shreds!
